Pioneer Offers New Class-D(3) Amplified AV Receivers

Pioneer has added two new SC AV Receivers (SC-1222 and SC1522) to its range of in-home entertainment systems.  The receivers offer the latest in connectivity with support for Windows7, DLNA and Apple’s Airplayer. Another feature is their ability to offer increase customization to end users and system integrators.  Both models are compatible with home automation systems such as Savant, Crestron and Control4.

An upgrade from the PMC2 the new models especially the PMC3-XP controls even more devices in the home. Savant File Legal Complaint Against Crestron

Savant Systems, an Apple-based home automation and control system has file a complaint against Crestron, also an residential and commercial building automation and control systems manufacturer,  in a Massachusetts District Court.  The complaint file by Savant claimed that Crestron has unlawfully sought to exclude Savant from the network of dealers who can purchase programmable controllers for residential and commercial automation.
