Honeywell Launches LYNX Touch 5100 Home Security Products

Honeywell has expanded their connected home portfolio with the introduction of two new security and home automation products: LYNX Touch 5100 and Tuxedo Touch Wi-Fi.  Both products were develop for busy parents who cannot be in two places at the same time. With the new solution, parents can control home appliances from their Smartphone, Laptop, Tablet or other web-enabled devices.

“with these security and automation systems, you can disarm the security system for a child returning home from school, turn up the air conditioning on the way home from work and watch as a package is delivered to your front door”, said Ron Rothman, president of Honeywell Security Group.

The LYNX Touch 5100 and Tuxedo Touch Wi-Fi Touchscreen home controller uses Z-Wave Wi-Fi technology to communicate with other home devices such as lighting controls, thermostats, door lock and motorized blinds. Also available is the Honeywell Total Connect remote interactive service and applications to give you access to your security systems and allows you to manage it.
