iiNet Now Offers Budii with Smartlife

iiNet launches Smartlife, a software solution powered by Budii its connected home solution.  The solution is on display at this year’s CeBIT 2013, Australia. As complete solution Smartlife will complement Budii to help manage home energy consumption, home monitoring and home appliance control.

smartlifeDeveloped in conjunction with the CSIRO, SmartLife uses cutting-edge technology to allow customers to monitor and control their power usage while taking advantage of energy saving ideas.

“The SmartLife prototype interfaces with appliances via separate ZigBee wall plugs. Future versions will give greater control of appliances as well as integration with home monitoring cameras, motion sensors, locks and other devices,  which are currently under development,” said Steve Harley, iiNet Chief Product Officer and Managing Director of iiNet Labs.

SmartLife is due to launched later this year.
