Introducing Crestron ADMS Media Server
Crestron has announced the release of the ADMS Intermedia Delivery System, a new and advance digital media server. It features some of the latest in multiroom home entertainment delivery. The ADMS is a next generation home media server with the capability to search and serve content from almost anywhere on the web. With the ADMS Media Server there are no boundaries between movies, TV, music and the internet; if the ADMS is connected to the source of the media then it will serve it.
When installed the ADMS forms the heart of media delivery throughout the home. The ADMS cut across the need to have many different devices to server different content, because through one user interface you can browse, download and purchase content. The ADMS provide access to content available on the local hard drive, network drive and online.
The ADMS comes with a 1Terabyte RAID 1 (Redundant Array of Independent Discs) hard drive, with the option to add a 4 Terabyte RAID 5 NAS (Network Attached Storage) for additional storage space. To accommodate Blu-ray discs, the ADMS solution also includes an optional 200-disc Blu-ray changer. Up to five changers may be cascaded to hold up to 1,000 discs.

Exclusive WorldSearch Technology:With it Exclusive WorldSearch Technology the ADMS is able to search local and on the web for music and movies by artist, title, actor, genre, director or playlist and immediately display the results with cover art.
Music:With support most popular music formats, including Windows Media , Apple® iTunes® and MP3, you can search and play any song, podcast, video or audiobook directly from your iTunes library on your home theater or multi-zone audio system. Preview songs before you add them to your queue, search by genre, song, album and artist, and scroll through the album art while controlling the decibel level, all from the touchpanel.
Movies:With integrated support for Amazon Video OnDemand onboard, ADMS brings the largest selection of movies for rent or purchase right into your living room. Complete online catalogs are updated daily, providing immediate access to new releases. Your personal library of Blu-ray discs and DVDs are conveniently played from the built-in Blu-ray drive or in the 200-disc Blu-ray changer.
Internet TV:The ADMS enables instant access to the best online video content, from popular sites such as Hulu, Joost, Vimeo, Metacafe, YouTube and others. It natively streams online TV shows, movies and videos in full screen HD.
Web Browser:The ADMS comes with its own web browser, so you can Surf the Web, check email or watch a live streaming video of breaking news or your favourite sports team in true HD.
