Meet "MOVE IT", The Connected Gym Kit

Indiegogo has a campaign running for a new gym kit that connects to your mobile Apple or Android and allows you to track your training and fitness.  The MOVE IT smart gym kit offers four key workouts for your abdominals and core, skipping, push-ups and  resistance. The MOVE IT gym kit, allows you to turn any 3mx3m space in your home into a gym.

Unlike other home gym kit, MOVE IT will not take up a lot of space in your home, once you are finish using it, MOVE IT will slot into a space measuring just 40x38x21cm, smaller than the space taken up by a small vacuum cleaner. It is made from plastic and aluminium, and the whole thing weighs a little over 3Kg (6.6lb).

The exercise options available with MOVE IT is not new but the connected and social functions is what makes this kit exciting.  The ability to keep track of your training allow you to track your progress and see your improvements.

The connected features of MOVE IT are its interchangeable handles that plug into each piece of equipment. These feature gyroscopes, pressure sensors, Bluetooth, and infrared sensors that can detect not only which part of Move It you are using, but also the type of exercise being performed, such as wide or narrow grip pushups.

Move It is available to preorder for $169 US on Indiegogo right now, with an estimated shipping date of August.
