Netgear Offers Google TV with NeoTV Prime

Netgear has expanded their range of smart TV solution NeoTV with NeoTV Prime.  Unlike the other models NeoTV Prime comes with Google TV adding Netgear to the list of companies offering Google TV.  The new addition to the Netgear family of streaming players offer advance flexibility to your home entertainment; NeoTV Prime allows you to easily search and find what you want to watch.

With NeoTV Prime you get access to a world of apps from Google Play and access to on-Demand services from a host of content providers such as Crackle, Rhapsody, Netflix, Flixter, Amazon Instant Video, Pandora and HGO Go.  Google Play also gives you access to movies and new releases in HD music albums, and apps designed specifically for the TV.

NeoTV Prime support playback of your personal media from external USB hard drives and home media servers.   With, the pre-installed aVia media player app you can play, manage and share your videos, music and photos from any other digital storage and Google Android devices to your big screen TV.

NeoTV Prime comes with the PrimeTime, an App that helps you to find and watch your favourite movies and TV shows.  The remote control is also PrimeTime aware so by just pressing a button, PrimeTime finds and recommends content you might be interested in.

Using the popular Chrome browser you can browse the internet as you would on your PC.   You can also use the YouTube app on your Android smartphone or tablet to push videos to NeoTV Prime to watch on the big screen.
