Pioneer Releases 3D Blu-ray Players BDP-LX54 and BDP-430

Pioneer has release 3D Blu-ray players (BDP-LX54 and BDP-430) in Australia; the two players offer customers the latest in connectivity, such as HDMI, Ethernet and wireless.  Features include BD-Live, iControlAV app, 1080p High definition picture quality and the ability to convert standard DVDs to near HD quality. With support the latest in multi-channel audio, both models support the Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio formats.

The two players offer user the choice in how they want to stream their content plus they can access BD-Live to get more information about certain Blu-ray movies. According to Pioneer the players can also act as complement to existing Pioneer 3D capable AV receivers to offer the best audio/video reproduction.

The BDP-LX54 and BDP-430 Blu-ray players also support Pioneer’s iControlAV, which allow users to control their AV receiver or Blu-ray player from an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch as they would with a remote. In addition you can access other digital media such as photos and videos on your home network – PC, SAN (storage area network) as well as online videos from YouTube.
