Sonic Solutions Adds DTS Sound Quality to RoxioNow Platform
Sonic Solutions has partnered with DTS to bring DTS' highly regarded multi-channel audio format to the RoxioNow premium entertainment platform. The collaboration on the recently release RoxioNow Platform will enable Sonic's retail partners, Best Buy, Blockbuster and others, to significantly enhance the viewing experience for customers for premium movies, next-day television shows, and independent films with richly immersive 5.1-channel surround sound.

Sonic Solutions has announced a lot of strategic partenersip recently to bolster its entertainment platform and to make it available to different solution providers. They recent partnered with DivX to certify their platform for mobile devices, LG for movie download, and was chosen by ASUS for their 3D G-series Notebook.
This partnership with DTS on the RoxioNow platform will add DTS-formatted audio to its supply chain for content encoding and will make DTS-enabled content available via its cloud-based digital locker system for connected devices. The DTS platform is recognise for their high quality in sound production across a wide range of devices, By integrating DTS within the RoxioNow platform, watching movies delivered online will immediately become an even more engaging and immersive experience.
