CEA wants manufactures of small home networking devices to sign up to new industry energy measurement protocol. When the association met last week for the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) Technology & Standards Forum, they announced the appointment of a Network Device Energy Consumption Working Group to help CE manufactures to use the same methods to test their device’s energy consumption.

DSI Entertainment Systems, an Electronic Systems Contractor specializing in audio video installation,  custom home theatre and home automation systems has been awarded the prestigious CEA ‘TechHome Integrator of the Year’ award for 2010. DSI which is based in Los Angeles was recognized for this award for outstanding leadership in architectural audio video installations and educational industry outreach efforts.
