See Netgem Connected Home Solution, nCloud at CES 2012
Netgem, a leader in connected home technologies and solutions, will present its nCloud connected home solution at CES 2012 in Las Vegas between January 10 to 12, 2012. Visitors to the show will netgem's latest offering for the connected home; products include connected TV solutions, Social TV Apps and home digital media storage.
At last year's CES, tablet devices generated a lot of buzz, this year, Netgem is developing that story and will use the show to demonstrate how it can optimize the consumption of TV and broadband content across multiple screens within the connected home. The company will highlight how it enables interoperability between connected TVs with smartphones and tablets using the Android and iOS operating systems to offer end users with a richer and more feature-rich experience.
Netgem has built a comprehensive multi-screen ecosystem by making use of its nCloud media server. This has been designed to meet the demands of TV customers looking for a Cloud-type experience and provides simple and consistent access to all content, including live TV and video on demand, from any connected device within the home. The hybrid nCloud approach enables service providers to blend their broadcast content with streaming and on-demand content and Over the Top services from the Cloud, whilst preserving the user's privacy by maintaining their own content within the home network.
At CES Netgem will highlight its latest hardware range including its media server featuring Network Attached Storage functionality. It will also show new Social TV applications developed around the nCloud software platform that allow end-users to interact with their favorite TV shows for an entirely different TV experience.
