TiO Releases Details of Home Automation Products

TiO, a subsidiary of Automated Control Technology Partners (ACTP), said they will start shipping their new range of home automation and multi-room audio products this August. The suite of Android based solutions features Wi-Fi based music streaming, multi-zone audio, wireless lighting and climate control; all controlled by their own TiO touchscreens controllers or Android tablets.

The first set of products are the TiO StealthStream One and Master Controller, a 802.11n wireless access point with up to 450 feet range. The TiO StealthStream  One digital audio zone player features 100-watt amplifier, built-in music streamer and Bluetooth receiver.
 
Also coming are two full-color touchscreens controllers for the zone player:  there is the TouchStream 4, a 4-inch portrait touchscreen, and the TouchStream 7, a 7-inch landscape display. Both are wall mountable and offer gesture control for ease of use.

A universal switch-dimmer is also being launch, the TiO TouchLite 4 (TL4). It features capacitive touch buttons and custom labelling and can be use to control switching motors, appliances, fans. The TL4 is configurable from the TiOHome app to offer one-, two- or four-button control of incandescent, MLV, ELV, LED and fluorescent bulbs.

Last is the TiO ThermaTouch One (TT1). It’s a wireless 4.7-inch full-color touchscreen thermostat; according to ACTP, it works with all industry-standard HVAC systems, including gas, electric and heat pumps and provides local-area weather information.
