Trident to Showcase Latest Internet Connected TV and Set-Top Box Solutions at CES 2011

Trident as setup a private suite away from the main show at the Luxurious  Wynn Hotel to demonstrate its new class of Internet Connected TV and Set-Top Box (STB) Solutions. Accordng to Trident the demonstration is to highlight its strength in picture quality, 3D TV, connectivity and HD audio. 

These demonstrations will include: The industry's first 45nm broadcast integrated STB; A new system-on-chip (SoC) family designed for the next generation of Web enabled TVs; The first connected Cinema TV using a 21:9 screen; and A variety of exciting online services that will be available on Trident-powered devices.

Connected TV Solutions
With more than two decades of innovation in the semiconductor market and more than 2,000 patents, Trident provides the core technology that is powering many of the top TV brands today.  The company's Connected TV solutions deliver crystal clear images and enable consumers to seamlessly connect to the Internet and surf the web directly from their television.  Some of the technologies to be highlighted at CES include:

STB Platform Solutions
