Cavium and DSP Collaborated on Digital Home Solutions

Cavium Networks and DSP Group have collaborated to develop a new reference design with integrated Digital Enhance Cordless Telecommunication (DECT) capabilities and VoIP functionality.  The multi-service gateway, market-ready reference design is designed to enable manufacturers of digital home network equipment to bring to market gateway solutions with voice communications features such as high definition voice, address book synchronization and PBX functionality.

Pace and ES3 Developed Mediaroom Set-top Box Solutions

ES3 and Pace have collaborated to develop a series of applications for the Microsoft Mediaroom platform.  The solution leverages the power of the Pace residential gateway  and set-top box , providing simplified access to manage devices in the home network, manage settings on the RG and provide methods for self-help in troubleshooting issues in the home network, all through a user-friendly interactive experience on the TV.
 

Enspert Adds Connected Devices to IDENTITY Mobile TV Service

The Enspert IDENTITY Mobile TV solution is about to be boosted with additional connected devices.  Enspert demonstrated range of mobile TV solution at last week’s CE Show in Las Vegas. According to Enspert the new line of devices that are coming out this year were designed to reflect the way we work and live. Developed on the open-source Android operating system the new range include VoIP and SoIP systems, including smartphones, multi-device media convergence hubs and mobile hotspots.

Spotify Coming On Logitech Squeezebox

Logitech has joined forces with Spotify so that owners of the Logitech Squeezebox media player can access Spotify music service. According to Logitech owners of the Logitech Squeezebox Touch or Squeezebox Radio player; using their existing wireless home network can now access Spotify’s comprehensive catalogue of more than ten million songs, including your Spotify playlists, anywhere in the home. Spotify is currently available in Finland, Norway, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Sweden and the U.K.
